Copper coloured Handpan – 9 Notes – D Minor

Product presentation

This handpan is tuned to a D kurd scale with 9 notes, all of which produce clear, deep sounds with a long sustain, giving this instrument a signature sound of its own.

Made from STL 430 stainless steel alloy, the material chosen for this handpan was carefully selected for its resistance to deformation, rust and corrosion, as well as for its excellent acoustic properties. This metal makes it possible to create a hang drum with extended sustain and crystal-clear notes and resonances that are immediately recognisable when the first note is played.

This copper coloured handpan with 9 notes has a very appealing sober design and a perfectly balanced sound. It’s the perfect hang drum for beginners looking for a versatile instrument that’s quick to get to grips with.

Frequently asked questions

The frequency will vary depending on how you want to use your handpan. Generally speaking, the difference will be as follows:

  • The 440Hz frequency will be the most appropriate in the vast majority of cases. This is because 440hz is the universal musical frequency, and is therefore best suited to playing music, concerts, etc.

  • The 432Hz frequency will be more appropriate for certain people who prefer to play the Handpan in a holistic context : music therapy, meditation, prayer, yoga, etc.

Once your order has been placed, a specialist craftsman in one of our workshops will be entirely dedicated to making your handpan. Whether it’s hammering the shells, assembling the instrument or tuning it, our hang drum craftsman will make sure at every stage that the quality of your handpan is flawless.

Each handpan sold on our site is made to order. The manufacturing and delivery time will therefore vary according to the current volume of orders and the manufacturing time of the chosen hang drum (up to a maximum of 4 weeks).
